was planning my first trip to India and had a done a bit of research about where and how I wanted to travel but I needed some help booking train tickets - which for whatever reason - is very hard to do from abroad. I got in contact with Girish at Swadeshi via Whatsapp and he was very helpful getting those train tickets. At first, I'll admit, I was reticent to send money because I had never talked to this person on the phone or met them in person. So, I demanded that I see the confirmations on everything before paying. Girish was very gracious and understanding about this and allayed my fears and sent me everything that I needed. I was so impressed with how thorough and friendly he was I decided to ask him to recommend and book our hotels as well. This was done excellently. When our trip started, Girish was always available to answer any newbie India questions and make recommendations. He generously offered to hire us a driver to take us to our first hotel from the airport and then let us make use of his driver for our first day in Jaipur. When there was a snag with our hotel in Udaipur he was understanding and worked with us to find a solution with care and efficiency. Finally, it worked out so we could meet him in person on the very last day of our trip in Jaipur. We had a nice round of drinks together during which my wife mentioned offhandedly that she wanted to eat Pani Puri and had not seen it on any of the restaurant menus we saw. Also, we were a bit afraid to eat Pani Puri from the street carts we saw due to potential hygiene issues. The conversation moved on. At the bar where we met there wasn't really a very inspiring menu so we decided to leave and Girish offered to drive us back to our hotel. So gracious. But... first... he had the driver take us to a really good Pani Puri place!!! This is the real mark of excellence, Girish is always listening to learn what would make a more enjoyable experience and then he does his best to make it so!! Thanks Girish and thanks to your family business. I will recommend you wholeheartedly to anyone I know traveling to India.

Amazing 3-day girls trip to Hampi. Transport arranged by Girish of Swadeshi Journeys. Seamless transfer from Bangalore airport to Hampi, two days in Hampi then transfer to Hubli for the return flights. Car was very clean and comfortable, and the driver was excellent.
